MICHAMBÉ was created by professional hair stylist Michelle Lucienne Brisson for in-salon and at home use. All tools and accessories are hairstylist approved and tested for durability and function. With luxury in mind, we created the perfect fashionable styling tools to make hair styling easier and better.

Hello I'm Hair stylist Michelle Lucienne Brisson, creator of Michambé is a licensed hair stylist of over 15 years in the industry, DEVA curl certified, 2021 multicultural and hair stylist of the year nominee, internationally published hair artist & 2019 Avant-garde winner at the BIG TEASE hair show.

"As a hair stylist I'm extremely passionate about hair, all hair! Straight, curly , wavy, kinky. And I have worked with many hair types and curly hair has always been one of my passions. The bounce and fullness of curly hair is beautiful. Unfortunately many clients rather straighten their hair instead of leaving it curly as there isn't many products on the shelf to help them maintain and rock that curly look. Thank goodness the trend of the Curly Girl Method. It showed many how to embrace their curls and a new trend is starting with women all over to leave their curls be curls! I love to educate my clients on how they can maintain their beautiful healthy hair at home and I have created these LUXE products to help make a more successful wash day experience."

Diverse styling tools

Michambé started with one great idea , the "T-Shirt towel" Women were using their over sized T-Shirts to wrap around their head instead of a traditional bath towel. why? Because it worked differently and refused frizz caused by friction. The smooth surface didn't pull  hair and create frizz like other bath towels. So Michambé went to work to create the ultimate frizz fighting hair towel that was inspired by the soft surface of the old school T-Shirt and enhanced it in multiple ways.

Our Luxe hair towel has a smooth surface, smoother than any microfiber or bath towel which reduces friction when drying your hair. Less friction = less frizz= less breakage. Reduce drying time up to 50% while maintaining your hairs moisture. The 100% Organic cotton is thick, luxurious & super soft.

WHAT IS GOTS CERTIFIED " Global Organic Textile Standards"

Our top priority is the quality of our products. Through rigorous product testing we found the top quality fabric for our hair towel. Made with 100% organic fair trade interlock knit cotton. Global Organic Textile Standard certified (GOTS) OneCert. This fabric is thicker than a " T-Shirt" towel and much more stylish.

The aim of the standard is to define world-wide recognized requirements that ensure organic status of textiles, from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labelling in order to provide a credible assurance to the end consumer.
Textile processors and manufacturers are enabled to export their organic fabrics and garments with one certification accepted in all major markets.

Why is organic important to us?

Environmental impact. Plain and simple. We try our best to leave less waste & pollution. Poisonous pesticides pollute our soil for generations to come. It kills bees and if you are an organic produce eater you can taste the difference. With organic cotton the cotton that is collected is softer and stronger than non organic. You will notice organic fabric will last longer and is of better quality. With our luxe hair towel for curly hair, the organic cotton fibers are combed and long staples (30mm) which will not pill like non organic cheaper fabrics.
